To My Mother:

Dear Mom,

I didn’t want to let this day pass without properly appreciating you and everything that you do for me and for the rest of the family.

Everyone knows that motherhood isn’t easy, but only mothers are really able to truly grasp this concept, because there is no other experience in the world that compares to carrying a child for 9 months and watching that child grow into a person.

And that is why, when a special day like Mother’s Day and birthdays come around, we need to take into consideration the hundreds of little and big sacrifices that our mothers make on a daily basis, and continue to do for us.

To one of the strongest, kindest and admirable women I have ever come to know, Happy Mother’s Day to you mom. I hope you know that though we don’t always see eye to eye, that I respect you so much, and that I will always look to you for advice and words of wisdom from love problems to career choices. And I will always love and appreciate the times that where we just sit in a restaurant and talk about the people around us.

I love you! :)
